Tease Fontes with Coldwell Banker was outstanding in all aspects of finding our new home in Hawaii. She tirelessly worked with us to find available properties in our selected area and budget over a period of 2 years. Tessie is very knowledgeable of market trends on the Big Island and nationally, providing reliable information to assist in making appropriate offers. She patiently guided us through every step of purchasing our condo and went above and beyond to assure that all conditions were met. Tessie was outstanding. She showed us every home we were interested in, and was available anytime of day for questions. She made time on weekend to show us houses, and worked with our schedule. Which was a big deal for us because my husband scheduled is crazy. When we found our home she made the process smooth and very fast. She meet me at signing and she was the one to give our keys. She was awesome and made the experience pleasant ??

Tessie was very familiar with our property and the neighborhood. Her showings and advice quickly resulted in multiple very good offers. The closing was much earlier than we could have expected. She was available by phone and email and replied to our questions in a timely manner. She organized the completion of the transactions leading to the sale. She was very helpful in trying to find the right house for us. She wouldn’t stop looking she would keep sending us houses in our budget every chance a house came up in the market. She A very great sale person that would help us in anyway she could to get us in the house we are in. If wasn’t for her I don’t what I would of done. She worked her best in our paper work going back and forth and trying to get the best offer we got. We really appreciates her so much and can’t thank her enough for working her best in getting our home!

I was embarrassed to sell our family home thinking no one would even consider buying it, but Tess was very determined to sell it fast. She walked me thru the whole thing from start to finish even when I doubted things wouldn’t go so well. But we did it and I’m very appreciative of everything Tess has done. Kudos to Tess.

As a first time buyer she was very helpful. We kinda given up on looking at houses but she was very knowledgeable on the areas and she always sent us bunch of houses to look at for us in our price range. When we were ready to look at one we just contacted her and boom ! she was ready to show and help us get what we wanted. During the beginning and closing process we had a lot of negotiation problems with the owner , Tessie Doesn’t play games she will fight for you!!!

Recently I arrived on the island. Thinking I knew what and where I wanted to be my final choice was not in line with my original thoughts. Ms.Tessie Fontes was recommended to me as a local agent vibrant and very engaging in all aspects of the real estate market. On my first meeting with this young lady I felt this being the case. Her expertise showed in many ways. Her guidance led me in a different direction than I originally had planned. She could see that I was pursing the wrong direction and offered me more viable options and wasted no time in trying to understand my requirements. ( of course I was the one being a little misleading due to my lack of knowledge of the areas.) Ms. Fontes certainly gave me the guidance I needed purely by listening and understanding my limitations. I am so great full for her being recommended to me. As we toured the various properties she was up front pointing out issues both positive and negative pertaining to that particular property. Tessie was an excellent Realtor who made our first home owner experience a rewarding one. She was patient when providing education and guidance towards our expectations. Our real estate transaction was carried out entirely by email. I came to Hilo four days before the closing, met Tessie, and did a walk-through of the property, but everything else was completed "by remote control." Tessie Fontes was key to enabling us to feel comfortable doing it this way. When we first expressed an interest in the townhome, Tessie responded immediately by email. She visited the property; she provided us with a video walk-through in which she commented about the condition of the property. We knew what was good - and not so good - about the property we were interested in. She did the research necessary for us to make a "buy" decision within one day. We really wanted the property and were prepared to make an offer above the asking price. Tessie - bless her heart - told us that we probably did not have to go as high as we did. We took her advice - and we made the deal - in a competitive environment with at least two other offers. Tessie knows the market. Tessie respects the interests of her customers.
