Gabriela Markova is originally from Prague, Czech Republic and relocated at the age of 21 to San Diego, California to pursue her career in the hospitality industry. Throughout Gabriela’s career, she held hospitality roles extending from hostessing in restaurants to joining management in Catering, Food and Beverage and the property’s Front Office.
Gabriela’s love for the hospitality industry extends from her passion of connecting with new people, helping people and finding avenues to making others feel welcome while they are traveling far from their home.
Gabriela relocated 10 years ago to the Big Island of Hawaii for a position with the Marriott Hotel and then the Four Seasons Hualalai and now calls the Big Island her home.
Gabriela entered the Hawaii real estate industry as a real estate agent because she felt it is parallel to the mission of the hospitality industry. Just like the hospitality industry, Gabriela discovered that like a guest of a hotel property, a real estate agent gets to know their client, understand their expectations and through finding a home or selling their own home, the goal is to always make them feel happy, comfortable and at home. As with a visiting guest in hospitality, a real estate client is taken care of from the beginning of the process to the end and Gabriela is passionate about the feeling of happiness she gets when she knows she made a client happy.

Gabriela was an excellent communicator, very organized and always there for us. She would adjust her schedule to help us see a home as quickly as possible and she put us in position to make competitive offers. She had a genuine interest in helping us, and we felt she always would put our interests first. She communicated our needs and desires to selling party and financing party flawlessly. Excellent realtor, 5 stars, 100% recommended.
