Laura is an enthusiast of water sports such as kiteboarding, surfing, and snorkeling. Beyond her aquatic pursuits, Laura channels her passion into writing, which culminated in recent years in the creation of a personal memoir that delves into her life experiences as well as her spiritual insights.

Post-college, Laura's commitment to service led her to join Peace Corps Mauritania, where she dedicated herself to teaching. Upon returning to the United States, she continued to service the youth, even fostering a child in her own home. Over the years, she has impacted the lives of numerous children. She is a coach for a youth soccer organization.

In recent years, her interests have organically shifted towards the realm of financial freedom, driven by her own observations and personal challenges.
