When I went to sell my condo I interviewed 5 realtors, Melissa came the most prepared and had the quickest response time so we decided to go with her. We were about to list in 2019, and then we lost our jobs due to covid, despite backing out at the last minute on Melissa, she was still very helpful and nice. In 2021 it all worked out for us to list our condo and move and she helped us sell our condo quick and easy.5 Stars Melissa is great!

After dealing with several other realtors in Maui and being disappointed, my wife and I felt lucky to find Melissa. Working on selling our Kihei condo with Melissa was a great experience. She was very thorough, professional, and great to work with. She helped us staged the condo, worked with the photographer to produce great quality images, and held many open-house sessions. She was also great at communication as she was very responsive to our calls and/or emails and she regularly kept us apprised throughout the selling process. She was honest and forthright when discussing our marketing and sales strategy. After a short while our condo was sold at the highest price ever recorded at our condominium complex. We highly recommend Melissa without any reservations.

I recently purchased a unique property in Maui from the mainland. There were 6 offers and despite not being the highest, Melissa got us the property. In addition, once we closed escrow, due to Covid we were unable to come to Maui right away and Melissa helped us tremendously after the sale. She is a kind and helpful agent with a can-do attitude. She exceeded my expectations and I recommend her 100%.

She has helped in the sale and the purchase of Property for my mother Carlos Lindsey and myself. After selling our property in Palm Springs, California; I was looking for a place to reinvest with a 1031 transaction and having worked with Melissa before on 1031 transactions and knowing that Hawaiian Property investments hold their value compared to the rest of the nation. I chose to reinvest on Maui, with Melissa Montgomery as my Agent. She has never failed on any questions I had or hesitated to find the answer if she wasn't sure her self.

Melissa did a great job assisting us in buying the perfect house for us in Maui. She is professional, communicative, and a pleasure to deal with. When we first contacted her, we clearly stated that we wanted to look at real estate, but were not planning to buy anytime soon. She happily agreed to work with us anyway, and took the time to show us two properties that we asked to see, which were not right for us. Not surprisingly, seeing those properties helped us realize that the house we ended up buying was a good find for us. When we saw the third house, we knew it would work for us, but we still were not committed to buying. Melissa patiently met with us and walked us through the process, and we decided to make an offer. She carefully drew up the contract and included all the important points. We knew we had to return to the mainland and we weren’t sure that the closing would go through before we left, but Melissa assured us that she would take care of everything, and she did. Melissa stayed in touch with us, both while we were in Maui and while we have been back on the mainland. She is easy to reach, and has kept us updated throughout the process. Even when we faced some challenges with the purchase, Melissa worked through them with us, advocated for us repeatedly, and shepherded us through to the closing and through the post occupancy agreement. The occupancy lasted longer than expected and Melissa has stayed with us to finish everything that needs to be done. She has also put us in touch with an excellent carpenter which we also really appreciate. The escrow officer that she chose for us was also excellent, which made the escrow process go smoothly. We have bought many properties over the years, and we have worked with many realtors, and Melissa is in the small category of excellent realtors. We unconditionally recommend her.

I hired Melissa to sell a property for me in Maui. I live off island and could not travel there. There were many unusual issues with the property that I was not aware of at the beginning. I actually can't wait until I have someone I can refer to Melissa. Her efforts were extensive to make our home buying experience successful. She understood our needs and challenges and found us the perfect home. The home she found and that we purchased was one that we weren't even going to look at. She wasn't pressuring at all. Melissa made sure that when we made our decision, it was what we wanted. She was punctual and kept frequent communication. We always knew what to expect. She also mediated for our best interest well between the sellers agent and mortgage broker.
